Meet Maritza
Hola!
My name is Mariza Cedeno, and I’m originally from the beautiful country of Ecuador. Ever since I was a little girl, music has been my passion and my escape. I grew up singing for dozens of friends and family members, and before I knew it I was booking gigs.
In addition to singing, I also have a long history of playing the acoustic guitar, writing many songs, and even producing several albums and singles. I have worked both as a solo artist and as a member of various bands, and each experience has brought me great joy and has continuously fostered my musical education.
I am currently pursuing a university degree in music theory and music therapy, and I have been teaching private music lessons for years now… that is, when I’m not out on the town performing!
I love to spread my love for music and make other people feel the magic that a beautiful rhythm or chord can create. I believe that music is one of the most powerful and healing tools in this world, and we should take joy in its beauty.
